If my credit card is stolen, do I get another one with the same credit line as (all the money on it from) the other one? Or do I have to pay a fee?
There should be no fee for replacing a stolen credit card and you should be able to keep your same credit limit. However, it’s really, really important to contact your credit card company as soon as you realize your card has been stolen.  This way the credit card company can cancel the account for your stolen card, and open a new account with a different credit card number. Remember contact your credit card company ASAP if your card is stolen. If you wait to call your credit card company you may have to pay for some or all of the charges the thief makes on your old account.
